Day-1
Chandigarh to Shimla
(120 kms 3-4 hrs)

Arrive at Chandigarh Railway Station or Airport where our driver will help you with the smooth transfers to the hotel Shimla.

Start early to beat the traffic out of Chandigarh and head towards the Himalayas on the Himalayan Expressway.

Check in to hotel and after fresh-up go for local Shimla sightseeing you will see places like The Mall Road, Ridge, Jakhu Temple, Kalibari Temple, Gaiety Theatre, Lakkar Bazar. Evening back to hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day-2
Shimla to Sarahan
(170 kms. 5-6 Hours)

Today, after breakfast, you will proceed towards Sarahan in the Kinnaur valley.

You will then be travelling through the rich forests of Deodar, breathtaking views of the valley, snow-covered mountain peaks and fast-flowing rivers.

Extremely renowned for the Bhima Kali temples, Sarahan is the erected in the old-style Kinnauri way mainly from the coatings of stone and timber to engross the force of earthquakes. There are two towers here, one newly reconstructed after the 12th-century original collapsed, and one from the 1920s (on the left) containing a highly admired shrine to Bhimakali (the local version of Kali) underneath a lovely silver-filigree awning on its top floor. The curved, peaked roofs suggest the Tibetan influence on Kinnauri architecture, which becomes more marked as you move up the valley.

Later in the evening, explore the small village of Sarahan with its slate-roofed houses that compose pictures of pastoral perfection and is surrounded by fields and orchards.

To the right of the two towers is the squat Lankra Vir Temple, where human sacrifices were carried out right up to the 18th century.

Day-3
Sarahan to Sangla
(90 kms 3-4 Hours)

Wake up early in the morning to experience one of the most beautiful sunrises.

After a delicious breakfast, you will leave for one of the most beautiful views of Kinnaur Valley.

Travel along the Sutlej river till Karcham from where you will take a right turn towards Sangla following the Baspa river.

Home to a large number of Buddhists, Sangla, with its red apple orchards and luscious cherry trees, is bounded by strapping mountain slopes and sprawling forests.

Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Sangla.
Day-4
Kalpa to Kaza Excursion to Chitkul
(210 kms 6-7 Hours)

Wake up to a beautiful morning and have a delicious breakfast before going for an excursion towards Chitkul.

Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border and here you can also visit the famous ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba’ for an amazing meal.

After exploring the beauty of Chitkul, return back to Sangla.

Day-5
Sangla to Kalpa
(40 km 2 Hours)

After a delicious breakfast, you will be retracing your path down the hill towards Karcham.

From Karcham take a right towards Powari which is another town at the banks of the river Satluj.

At Powari take a left towards ReoKong Peo, which is the main town of the Kinnaur district from where you will proceed to Kalpa.

Spend the night in the beautiful Kalpa village overlooking the Kinnaur Kailash mountains.

Overnight stay at camp/homestay in Kalpa.

Enjoy a hearty Post early morning breakfast, go out to explore the spectacular beauty of Kaza.
Day-6
Kalpa to Narkanda
(170 km 4-5 hours)

Post breakfast at the hotel, you will head towards Narkanda, known as the fruit bowl of Himachal Pradesh.

First, you will travel down to Powari from where you will be taking a right turn onto the NH 5 along the Satluj River.

You will then travel through the slithering roads following the Satluj River and passing the rich Deodhar forests to reach Narkanda.

Enjoy the mesmerizing view of Himalayas from Hatu Peak.

Day-7
Narkanda to Chandigarh
(180 km 5-6 Hours)

Post breakfast at the hotel, start your journey back towards Chandigarh.

Apple and cherry trees line the roadsides and the tall Deodhar fir trees spread their sweet aroma all around.

On the way, you will be passing through Chail, a hill station in the lower Himalayan range and home to beautiful flower orchards.

Once you reach Chandigarh, this marks the end of your memorable tour to Kinnaur Valley.
